SURVIVOR Island!!!!!!
wish me luck.
i'm going to a casting call june 13th @ barona casino (san diego). i've printed out my application and i'm working on my 3 minute video.
i'm gonna go friday night when i get out of work and camp out in my sleeping bag (no tents allowed) and the interviews start saturday morning. each interview is 2 minutes long (or short).
i'm going to wear my fuzzy duds!
anyone else want to come with me?

Re: SURVIVOR Island!!!!!!
While I'm really not a fan of "survivor" type shows, I am curious as to how it went for you guys. Post up, all you who tried out!

Re: SURVIVOR Island!!!!!!
sorry i never posted up an update.
i did TERRIBLE. i froze. frogeye and i went friday night and camped out. we were surprised that there werent more people. we got a few hours sleep but alot of folks were up all night and there was one crazy cheerleader chick that kept walking up and down the line yelling and trying to get everyone excited.......we just wanted to run over her with our trucks. sheeesh
of course chris had his ideas all down on paper for his taping...organized, perfect. i know he did great. (but they havent called him yet i dont think?)
i didnt want to go in rehearsed cause i knew if i wrote things down i'd freeze and not say them anyways....didnt much matter....cause i froze and didnt say much. or at least that i can remember.
the thing that sucks about the "casting calls" is that...........you go in, stand in front of the camera, get a count down then have to just TALK AND SELL YOURSELF for 2 minutes. they tell you to be creative but.........
so i'm not done with this survivor show. the next round or application process...i'll make my own video and send it in myself. if i do this then i can tape up to 3 minutes (instead of 2)...then i can edit it, make it my own....and really kick some as5.
it was a great experience and i'm glad i did it...but i'll do it differantly next time.
