My name is Mark and I am joining cause I was reading about the members trip to Parashant NM in the AZ strip. I have been to Parashant numerous times and maybe next time I can tag along. I know nothing about HAM radio, but am willing to learn!

Welcome, and don't worry about not being a ham afficianado. To fully participate in this site, you'd have to know about ham, scuba diving, rock crawling, hiking, dirt biking, motor cycling, fishing, hunting, camping, shooting, drinking the occasional alcoholic beverage (never in conjunction with those othe activities), protecting our trails, bicycling, astronomy, surfing.

So we're all beginners at something, so this is a great place to meet new people and learn new things. Looking forward to hitting the trail with you.
