2009-07-18: Cleghorn Run for Beginners and Intermediate

Post by aw12345 » Thu Jul 09, 2009 7:33 pm

My wheeling buddy Fred and Me were thinking of doing an easy run on Cleghorn rd to help some people out that want to have some fun trail riding. A lot of Cleghorn rd can be done in a stock Jeep, especially if it has some good offroad tires on it. You got 31's you can do most all of the side trails. Come on out and lets have some fun
Meeting time 5pm Saturday July18 under the freeway bridge 15 fwy and Cleghorn rd exit

See ya there

My mom is arriving in town from Nebraska on the 19th. I want to do this run with you but the boss won't allow it with my mom's arrival the next day. I plan on doing a weekday run from Cleghorn to Arrowhead Village with my mom that week. I will probably be looking for some tag alongs.

I lead a run from Cleghorn to Arrowhead Village a while back and we had a stock Sahara Edition Jeep with the stock side steps on it and he ran every side trail out there without incident. I absolutely love this trail system. :)

There will be some jeeps without lockers also so no worries, Looks like there will be quite a few folks showing up and some folks with a fair amount of wheeling experience to guide the rest along.
