I had had taken some co-workers out to this area this last spring and we had good discoveries.

Nice pics Field Naturalist, thanks for sharing. Next time your heading out give us a heads up if you don't mind guests, I could use a lesson in geology. Love your trooper.

Note: The Ocotillo plant is in the Fouquieriaceae family and is unrelated to the cactus.
