FS: Sierra Designs Baku 1

Post by traveltoad » Wed Jul 08, 2009 5:27 am

Generic Web info about this tent:
The Baku weighs a scant three pounds, with one vestibuled mesh Stash Door and a traditional drop door on the other side. Two doors, freestanding, room to sit up, a covered vestibule - at three pounds!

Specs:
Trail Weight: 3 lbs 0 oz
Fast Pack Weight: n/a
Packed Weight: 3 lbs 7 oz
Number of Doors: 2
Interior Area: 17 sq. ft.
Vestibule Area: 7 sq. ft.
Peak Height: 38"
Floor Material: 70D Nylon Taffeta 1800mm
Body Material: 40D Nylon Rip Stop
Fly Material: 40D HT Rip Stop Nylon PU/Silicone
Poles: DAC Featherlite NSL 8.2mm

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the tent. No tears, no stains, all zips are perfect. I am just going even smaller (bivy). I bought it used and have used it on 4-5 trips. It has been great. The stuff bag has a couple wear marks... price includes the original and a new REI bag for the tent and the Sierra Designs footprint.

This is all I have for a photo of the actual tent. More photos if anyone needs them.
