Aug 6, 2009 Worst breakdowns & solutions

Post by traveltoad » Wed Aug 05, 2009 8:53 pm

Trail repairs are part of the experience... the joy... and yes, at times the tears. We can all learn from the different perspectives of even the most basic trail/road repair.

This is a chance to share and to learn about thinking through and solving a mechanical problem on the trail or the road. If it was a problem that made you stop and break out the tools... it is a story worth telling.

What a fun net!!! We had 27 check ins and talked about punctured tires (see pics above), repairing a drive line with a key ring, ice chest cooling systems, remote fuel systems, driving without a funtioning steering wheel, broken A-arms... just to name a few of the stories told!!! Great stuff guys!
