Anza-Borrego Desert State Park: Pinyon Mountain Road

It's been a while since I've run this complete trail. So I'd like to get an early start on it the first saturday of october. If anyone (who has a vehicle that'll fit through the Squeeze) wants to join me, post up or PM me. This trail passes through a narrow canyon with steep hills and one extremely steep descent. The main attractions will be The Squeeze and Pinyon Dropoff, a.k.a. Heart Attack Hill. This is considered a difficult run. The last part of the route I have planned will be moderate as it climbs up to Arroyo Seco Del Diablo Canyon and exits through sandy Vallecito Wash. I'll probably check the water level through Carrizo Creek as well.

I've also heard that parts of the canyon wall in Arroyo Seco Del Diablo have collapsed so that should make things interesting. It should also be a bit cooler out by then. Just watch out for those flash floods... :D

Part of the park I've not seen...because an 80 just will not fit thru the squeeze w/o significan body damage, if at all. Have fun!

Well, you can at least drive to the base of the dropoff via Fish Creek like we did earlier in the month.

Long & boring video but for FJ owners at least you know it can be done without carnage. :D
