I Am A Grandpa

Post by ssc » Wed Sep 30, 2009 10:24 pm

My daughter gave birth to a beautiful 7 pound boy this evening at 8:03pm. Been in labor for 24 hours. I am now a proud grandpa. Everyone is happy and healthy. I think we are all looking forward to some sleep.

Wow! Congratulations. I can't speak for grandparenthood, but having a child is truly a life-changing miracle.

I have to ask: What in the world are you doing in front of the computer??????

Good point Eric. Everyone wants pictures, so I have been sending them with the Iphone and computer. We went to the hospital last night at 8, so it has been a long haul. All of us have been running on empty and now we are starting to relax and, I hope, be able to go to sleep.

Good night, Steve

Congrats Steve. I know you've been nervously anticipating this moment for a while, so I am very glad to hear everything went well. That's truly awesome.

Congratulations Steve. I'm glad everyone is healthy and hope you all get some rest soon. We know it will be awhile before the parents get any rest though...

Thanks for the kind words. I made a mad dash to Havasu since all were fine. It is beautiful here. I need to exchange the ford for the FJ. Hit a couple of trails today and capped off a few rounds. Hope to see many of you next week at the Bass Pro Shop.
