Yeah, not many Touareg offroaders in the US. Several of us annually meet for a full week in Ouray Colorado - with smaller trips in Moab and elsewhere. There are several good offroaders in the SD area.. you may have met one who has trailed with OAUSA members. The offroad capabilities may be better known in other parts of the world - with the Porsche Cayenne sporting a Transsyberia model. The Audi Q7 is also a 7L chassis, built in the same factory - but not as offroadable. They certainly dont look the part - and I like that !
