The winter months are the ideal time to visit the desert. In the lower deserts the creosote bush and the ocotillo will be just starting to show some bloom in mid to late January. This week our net will discuss desert destinations. Join us and share some of your favorite locations.
We covered Johnson Valley and Rasor OHV areas, Anza Borrego Desert State Park, Truck Haven Hills near teh Salton Sea, and the East Mojave. The net lasted to almost 9:30 with 38 check ins.
