2010-02-18 OAUSA Net - Winching and Recovery
We covered the dangers of the recovery equipment we use and the basic safety rules for winching. We discussed how to use a recovery strap, the pros and cons of synthetic winch rope, and the reason wire rope is so weak. There were 28 check ins and the net lasted 2 hours.
See you on the Trail!

I know I learned a lot. It seems like every time I had a question it got answered before I could ask it.
