2010-2-4 Flashlight Fetish

Post by traveltoad » Fri Feb 05, 2010 2:20 pm

Or "torches" to most places other than North America.

A fun net with 32 check in and over 80 flashlights within arms reach. I was clearly preaching to the choir about the importance of having a flashlight readily at hand. It was a really fun evening talking about different bulbs and batteries and sizes and uses. We really only scratched the surface so maybe we should do it again!

Links to a few of my favorite flashlights:

Sorry I missed this one. I once was was doing server room maintenance with an Eastern Indian Net Admin in a server room that wasn't well lit. She said we need a torch in here. My first thought was "why do ya wanna burn the place down?", until I realized what she meant!
