2008-05-22: Vehicle Essentials

The topic for this net was a continuation of the topic, "vehicle essentials" from the Vehicle Preparation Series. The net lasted 2 hours and we had over 24 check-ins. Due to time constraints and the need to discuss our topics, we were not able to complete the full list of vehicle essentials and will probably continue with this discussion next week. The topics discussed were fire extinguishers and survival equipment. Tom Severin of Badlands Offroad Adventures again assisted in this net and his contribution was most helpful. Tom's topic was survival items. Tom regularly guides trail runs in remote desert and mountain areas and is very knowledgeable in the areas of survival preparation. Tom's Mojave Road runs are a perfect introduction to offroading and a great opportunity to enjoy one of the most beautiful locations in Southern California.
