After Chazz' chili dinner, we may have several new musical instruments.NotAMog wrote:Here is what I plan to bring for general use -
Musical Instruments(?)-
Will we have enough musicians on the trip to consider jamming around the camp fire? I could bring my carbon fiber cello. It's bulky to transport, practically indestructible, and sounds pretty good for what it is. Just don't expect expedition cello playing like that in the movie Master and Commander(that was actually Yo Yo Ma playing in the movie).

Re: General Gear Discussion
My rig requires the following
20w-50 motor oil (engine)
GL-4 (not GL-5) 90w gear oil (transmission, transfer case, portal axle hubs)
DOT-3 brake fluid (brakes, 4x4 control, locker controls)
I have a slight oil leak going on which I have not been able to locate. My mechanic thinks its the O-rings on the push rod tubes. It should get better as the weather warms and I drive the truck more often. I'll be bringing extra engine oil and GL-4 90w to keep things topped off. I'll also bring the extra brake fluid as requested. Coolant is not a problem as the Pinzgauer is air cooled.
