Post by BorregoWrangler » Sun Apr 04, 2010 4:11 pm

So did anyone else feel that quake just now? We got it pretty bad. The water was splashing out of my aquariums!

I could not feel it through the awesomeness of Larry's tires.

Can't wait to add that to my next sales pitch..."Yeah, these tires have incredible traction, great treadlife, oh, and they'll protect you from earthquakes... :o

I was in my garage and it started. I moved to the opening of the garage and was watching my Tacoma bounce around, it was goinig up and down and side to side. I checked the gas meter and other pipes and also the lines coming from the poles. No damage :D.

I was sitting on the toilet doing my buisness when it hit. I've heard that the bathroom is the safest room in a house for earthquakes. It's small so it's stout, and the wetwall is thicker than a normal wall.

I just stayed put.

That's the second time I've been in the bathroom when a quake hit.

Imagine being out in one of those narrow canyons out in the desert when one of those hits. Get away from the walls!

I actually think it would be interesting to head out and check the condition of Arroyo Seco Del Diablo Canyon and others. I'm sure you'd come across a few sections that have collapsed.

I was out wheeling never felt a thing and no I did not use Larry's tires :D
Heard about it on the radio maybe 5 mins later or so and was wondering why I didn't feel a thing.
