Howdy,
I just discovered this site this morning... Wow!
Looks like a great site with several familiar folks and many new ones to me. I'm a retired National Park Ranger and I have been a ham for 20 years. My wife Shirley is also a ham. Her call is KO5M.
We love to travel in our FJ and have been to the Sierra Madres in Mexico in it on week long expeditions several times. I hope to join you guys on the net.

Your contributions to the nets will be appreciated, as a former ranger. Two extras, in one home - WOW! I Know that it would be too far for you to travel, but if you could, it would be great to have you participate in our first function, the meet and greet on the 21st. If not, then there will be other functions and runs that will be somewhat closer for you. Welcome!

Are you local to SoCal ? If so, maybe you can make it to the Meet & Greet on 6/21/08 at Ricky and Ronnie's Diner in Torrance. Check out the thread about it for more info...
