Lil bit of desert fun, even had a few rocks

Post by aw12345 » Fri Apr 30, 2010 7:03 pm

Mr Fred and me had seen this on Pirate and it looked worthy of checking out. So of to Indio we went.
Had a ball exploring the desert there found the trail or so we think it was fun but could have had a few more challenges, after that we roamed around SanBerdu and Fargo canyon some more had a very fun filled day

Looks like a fun day. Is there a name for that trail in Indio?

Not that I know off, another friend told me that on the south west side of the 10 fwy and HWY 111 there are some fun canyons to explore

I think all in all we ran atleast 40 miles or so out in the desert, I love the exploring looking for canyons and washes. Also just being out in nature looking at all the flora and fauna is very rewarding
