This sounds like fun buts it's the same weekend as our SummerFest event in Big Bear. ;)

You will enjoy it. Since Mike Paterson passed away a group has been taking care of it until it all sorts itself out. There is usually a caretaker there, and if you are very mellow and good, he might let you look around. Well worth a stop in Keeler before you go up to see the old Train Station and Firetrucks. Then up and over, off to the Warm Springs in Saline Valley makes a nice day of it, but I see you folks are headed back down to the Yellow Grade Owens again. It will still be good fun!!

Sounds like fun. I'm hoping to get out there sometime this winter or next spring.
