Rowher Flats 05/15/2010

Post by DennisDawg » Mon May 17, 2010 8:48 am

We were up at Rowher Flats on Saturday. The place has been tamed considerably since it closed do to fire. They did a ton of work but removed some of the best trail obstacles. But, it is still a very nice place and in spring, surprisingly lush. Well worth the day trip as it is not very far away.

Rowher Flats pictures are here: http://www.socaltaco.com/images/thumbnails.php?album=42 and the badly written short story is on the home page here: http://mainsite.socaltaco.com/ for all to enjoy (or ridicule, giggle at . . . heheheheee)!

Rowher looks like a beautiful trail. I haven't been up there yet.

It is very pretty right now and even has some places where the flowers smell and make it even better. They did a nice job!
