Carvacre then Otay run

Post by Frogeye » Wed Jun 11, 2008 8:02 pm

{run info update 7-26-08}
This run is going to be done on Sunday, August the 3rd. I'm thinking we could meet at Pio Pico Campground around 10:30AM and then continue over to Carvacre from there. I'll post up directions to Pio Pico soon.
{/run info update 7-26-08}

I'm itching to do a Carvacre and Otay run. I was thinking at the end of June or the First weekend of August. If you haven't done Carvacre yet, it's time. And, if time permits we could always swing over to Otay and run some more trails. Possible BBQ action at Carvacre or somewhere in Otay.

If you are interested, post up which weekend and weekend day is best for you. I was thinking about either the weekend of the June 28/29th, or August 2nd/3rd. I didn't want to try to squeeze in anything to close to Ouray.

Peace

Hey, August sounds good to me!

I was just up Carvacre the other day after work. Its only 15 or so minutes away from my truck's yard. Haven't been up Otay in a while, though.

I've never done Carvacre. I think either weekend should be good for me.

August would be better for me. We should be moved by then, and have the new bumper finished up and installed...

It's probably gonna be hot!

August is looking like the better weekend. Thanks all. I've invited a few friends from the SocalFJcruiserForums.com so it should be a nice M&G as well.

Sounds good, Carveacre is always fun. Anyone for trying the Cuchama trail that runs by Tecate Peak? Access from Marron Valley.

Yes, a South Bay Quickie in the works. Sounds good. I'd be up for that D.

Gas will be the same...more...having probably hit a plateau at that point.
