So Saturday is just GM and Jacoby? I may be able to swing this, but I was hoping on more to make it worth the drive.

There is another less-known trail that would be awesome to summit at sunset, not too sure about doing it with snow though... I'd also be up for heading back over towards Fawnskin along the mountain. There is a yellow post I'd like to stay at if it is open.

Man, I'd love to come along but I won't have everything buttoned up in the Jeep by then.
Have fun!

I hope we run into you folks. I will monitor the Simplex Freq. off and on to try. I will be up Friday night, camping in Holcomb Valley on the north end, and will be on K6BB (Sugar Lump) in camp most of the time (that one works better for my wife to check on me) on Friday and Saturday evenings. We have a group running White and Gold, and another Gold and John Bull. Both on Saturday and we be generally goofing around as well so we could easily run into you folks!
Local Repeaters On Which You Might Find Me (K6DOB):
- Big Bear K6BB 147.330+ PL: 131.8 - Keller Peak KE6TZG: 146.385+ PL: 146.2 - Sierra Peak KD6DDM 146.610- PL: 103.5

Other options for Sat are to then run Heartbreak and rattlesnake, or whatever.

I was thinking Dishpan, but Heartbreak Ridge/Pontiac is one of my favorites..

I'm up for either, I just have to be careful as I don't have my rockers yet...
Looks like we'll be joined by Nick and his son as well (joined us on the last Mojave trip).

That wouldn't surprise me at all, the mountain isn't that big.DennisDawg wrote:I hope we run into you folks. I will monitor the Simplex Freq. off and on to try. I'll get K6BB programmed in so I can monitor it as well. I guess I need a tri-tuner radio now...

Rattlesnake Canyon and Heartbreak Ridge are the runs I'll be leading on Sunday up there for the event. It would be great to have you guys along...sdnative wrote:I was thinking Dishpan, but Heartbreak Ridge/Pontiac is one of my favorites..
