8800

Post by Willie H » Sun Jun 13, 2010 12:03 pm

I plan on getting an 8800 tomorrow. Is there anyone who has programed it with Mac OSX? If not... is there anyone willing to meet me with a laptop and program it?
Thanks.

Try PMing sdnative. I think has the means to program it. I could be wrong though. I love the 8800. I gave up all my gear for it when I switched to the D710.

I can program it for you. Send me your email address via PM and I will send you a data file template that you can fill out (or just use the same format I am). When you get that done we can meet and I will upload to your radio.

My current programming scheme has most all of the repeaters from San Diego, Riverside, Imperial, Orange counties (maybe one or two more I can't remember) spread across multiple banks. You are welcome to use this or create your own.
