2010 SummerFest Potluck Planning
The potluck will be held on the night of June 26th. It will start between 6:30 pm and 7:00 pm.
Please post your savoury dish that you will be bringing to the potluck and it will be added to the head of this thread, then your post will be deleted (unless it is extremely funny). Please keep your serving sizes to about 6 people. I’m sure 12 or more will be able to sample your dish and tell you how great it is.
Hint: the more detailed you are in describing your dish, the more that others will be inspired to up their game.
Main Dishes:
Chazz Layne - Homemade Chile w/Cornbread
salad_man - Soy Sauce Chicken
BruisedFJ - Raw Vegetarian Pizza - hey Gon2Srf, I've been converted.

I can do a homemade chili with cornbread. I'll see if I can get a hold of some of my favorite chilibeer to go with it too...
I can also bring a bunch of disposable utensils, napkins, plates/bowls, and paper towels.

I'm going to bring some fresh fruits for a fruit salad. Any requests for the this ie: no nuts, or honey?
What is the booze polocy for sponsored events by the way? It has to be pretty loose after listening to lastweeks net
I'll have a propane grill and a Jetboil too.

How about some hot nachos from the solar oven for an hoers d'oeuvre. There should be enough sun this time of the year. If I get back from the run early enough I could bake a cake or make a batch of brownies as well. If I get back really early I could make a solar Lasagne. The biggest drawback to the solar oven is that you need the sun. It doesn't work well for late dinners.
