Our net discussed recovery and winching in particular. We spent most of the net discussing synthetic rope replacement for steel line as well as all the safety aspects of winching.
The net lasted 2 hours. We had 30 check ins.

It was a good net . . . I listened on my HT in my little tent, pushed up near a stunted tree to block the wind on Wildrose Peak with my little yagi tied to a tree. I was like 1 watt from being able to be understood! Heeheheheee.
Think I will go buy 50’ of extension line though, and a few more snatch blocks.
I’d like to see a diagram or video of winching backward with a winch on the front . . . not sure how to do that and seem like a good thing to know.
