Hi everyone. It's been a long time I thought I would say hello.
I'm looking forward to the annual Borrego Fest!
So what the fudge have I been doing? Well back in April I hurt my knee surfing and the doctor told me to help rehab it do the following:
Ride my bike, change my diet, loose some weight!
I listened and started riding about 40 miles every week. Well about 4 weeks ago while out on a road ride I was cut off by a car while riding at full speed down a hill in a bike lane. I thought my life was coming to a quick end when I tboned the side of the car and went human pinball thankfully towards the sidewalk. I had cuts and bruises and amazingly, no broken bones.
Needless to say I don't ride street anymore and I ended up getting
a brand new full suspension mtn bike out of the accident.
Obviously this accident had a huge impact on the way I live my life. I'm in the moment and living every day to the fullest.
Back in April when I hurt my knee I was at 228lbs! Yesterday after my 10 mile ride through glorious single track out. In mission trails regional park I weighed in at 204lbs! Ya I have lost a double chin or two. I want to get to 195 and then possibly below 190lbs.
In the future I want to mtn bike Kokopeli and part of the Mojave rd.
I look forward to seeing old friends at Borrego Fest.

It's good hearing from you, Chris!!!
Wow, I'm glad your accident wasn't more serious. Congrats on the weight-loss! Mission Trails is a great place to ride. If I ever got a mtn bike I'd like to ride through Middle Willows in Coyote Canyon.
See you at BorregoFest!

It's great to hear from you and it's very good to know that you bounce so well without breaking anything.
For some reason, I had either forgotten or just didn't know that you had your ham license. Well done. Looking forward to seeing you at Borrego Fest.

Hey, Froggy, welcome back !!!
Stop running into cars - it's bad for your health. Besides, there are easier ways to lose weight than to remove body parts !!!
Seriously, I'm glad you are OK, and I look forward to seeing the new, smaller you at BorregoFest

Congrats on the weight loss, Froggy! Keep up the good work! I'm in the process of shedding a few myself.
