KA6YYZ - 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser

Post by mkindig » Fri Jul 30, 2010 9:58 am

Greetings! I recently had a dual battery system installed at Dirty Parts. I met Larry, who told me to check out this group.

I've been tracking down all of the California Registered Historical Landmarks, obtaining GPS coordinates, and taking photographs. I've been all over Anza-Borrego, Mojave, and Death Valley. I recently joined the Billy Holcomb Chapter of E Clampus Vitus. I'm a registered ham.

Best regards,

Michael

Welcome to OAUSA, Michael !!!

Thanks for signing on - we're looking forward to hearing more about your exploits tracking historical landmarks, so post up some of your treks.
A lot of us spent time in Mojave and Anza Borrego, and we'd love to hear about things we might not have seen yet.

Also, check out the BorregoFest 2010 Sign Up thread - it's one of OAUSA's annual events, and we always have a great time at camp and on the trails - including DaveK's mine run that let's you see historical mines that are not normally available for public viewing (they are privately owned).

Welcome to OAUSA, Michael !

Sounds like you'll fit right in. Feel free to post up pictures for your ride and the places you've been.

Like Larry said, be sure to check out our 2010 BorregoFest threads.

Thank you, Larry, for that kind advice. My invitation however, was to POST the call sign in our Ham license section so we could add it to our roster.
