New Call Sign

Hey all,
I finally got my vanity call sign. As you can see by my sig, the artist formerly known as KI6QYZ is now known as KI7CJW :mrgreen:

I am assuming CJW is your initials? Why the 7 vs. the 6?

Yep, CJW are my initials. 7 'cuz KI6CJW was already assigned.

oh - I thought maybe you were moving out of CA. Glad to know you are staying!! BTW - changed you on the roll call so listen for the new call sign this thursday.

i just dont get it.............i bought HAM RADIO FOR DUMMIES and when i try to read it i get a headache! :) i'm not going to give up yet though. one of these M&G's i'm sure i'll be talked into green eggs and HAM!

Bobo, the route I took is to go to http://www.hamelmer.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and download the free amateur radio practise exam. I studied for my tech exam by taking the practice exams until I was passing consistently. Got 100% on the real thing.
