Otay Quickie 9/6/2010 (Short Notice)

Post by OLLIE » Sun Sep 05, 2010 10:17 am

I have some traction control stuff I want to check out on my rig. I'm doing a run up Otay Monday morning. I'll be airing down at Pio Pico Campground between 6:30 am and 7:00 am. I'll be rolling out at 7:00 am. I have to go into work at 4:30 am to sign some paperwork (gotta pay the troops) and I'll be heading to the trailhead right after that.

Thousand Trails: Pio Pico Campground on Otay Lakes at 6:30.
CB: 40
Simplex: 147.510
Repeater: Otay (146.640 PL:107.2)

I'll be doing Trail 3-2, Mini Stonehenge, Mocogo Ranch, Little Coyote, and if time permits, some of Marron Valley.
I'd like to be airing back up between 1:00 pm and 2:00.

I didn't know those trails had names. I'll see if I can make it out. 8-)

1. VSC cancel.

2. E-Locker anytime.

3. Fuel system kill switch.

I've passed my warranty period so I've done a few hacks I've been wanting to do. I've been getting all four traction control lights (ABS, Slip, VSC, and VSC TRAC) every few days. I think I finally narrowed it down to a bad fuel cap but I want to put her through the paces to see. I bought a new fuel cap and it don't seem to be returning. I topped off the tank this morning and no lights yet. It seems to happen when I've topped off the tank and stops when I've gotten down to 3/4 of a tank. This was before I did the hacks BTW. I just did all the hacks this morning.
