We were able to put the Jeep back together and get it up the trail...but the drama continued...once we got on the freeway to return home, we quickly found a cracked track bar bracket (probably unrelated to the incident on the trail) that finally decided to give way, and had to drive it from Gorman to West Los Angeles on the freeway at 30 mph...a very long, hot day, but at least everyone is back home... ;)

For anyone interested in tackling the Miller Jeep Trail, it is definitely in rougher shape than when I drove it last fall...
