Well I am back

Post by Ki6ker » Tue Jun 17, 2008 7:33 pm

Let me say, it was great.
I think the ice bergs were the best, watching them all around you as your guide takes you thru them in a boat that is suddenly way to small.
or was it camping on a glacier that made the experience, I do not know which I liked better.
Doing the Con was fun, in fact it was so fun I turned around and did it backwards.
then we went and spent the week in Big Bear and tromped the old familiar hills for a week.
All in all. a time of adventure that was way to short. but was long enough to get it out of the system.

Hey, Jim, glad to hear you had a good time. Alaska is one of my all time favorite places - don't think I could ever live there, but I love to visit...and I can't wait to get back up to Big Bear - only about $300 in gas to get there now....

Any chance you can make it to the Meet and Greet on Saturday ??? Give you a chance to show off the Jeep...
