Thanks. It used to be a full-time gig for me but I had to close the studio a few years ago. While it was necessary, I've regretted it ever since. Here's a few more I just dug up from some travel.
This is a very famous street in Brussels. I've forgotten its name but it contains all the seafood restaurants. The maitre d's stand out in front of their restaurants and yell at you with the hopes you'll come in. They are willing to deal quite a bit and I watched some people work out some amazing dinners.
These next two are from Germany. I was there working for a few weeks in the small village of Kempen which is just south of Dusseldorf. The first image is a summer storm that came rolling in and put on one of the best lightning shows I had seen in a long time.
This image is of the Koln Dom. One of the guys I was working with decided to drive me over there for dinner one night. With Autobahn speeds, it didn't take very long and I was very appreciative. We got there too late in the day to go inside but the outside is mind blowing. The building is so huge that it doesn't look real. Then when you think about the history of its construction, it's just mind boggling.
These last two images are from another work trip that had me in Melbourne for a few weeks. I put a few thousand clicks on the rental car while I was there just driving around. It's a beautiful country. Both of the images are from a drive I took down to a rain forest preserve a few hours south of Melbourne. The old car I spotted just off the road in the woods as I was driving through the mountains. The dead tree is from the hike in the rain forest that was on a suspended cat walk.
I don't want to tie up the thread with a bunch of outside links but I do have full galleries of a lot of these places. If you have some down time and you're interested in clicking through some photos, drop me a pm and I'll send you the links.
