2010-10-09: BorregoFest Prerun

I'll be looking for at least one other rig to tag along with me this Saturday to check trail conditions for my Sunday BorregoFest run. I have some ground to cover around Ocotillo and it's always a good idea to have another vehicle with you. This will be an area I'm not all that familiar with but I believe it should take at least half a day. There's no vehicle limit on this one. I'll be at the Carl's Jr parking lot in Alpine around 5:30 and would like to be on the road shortly afterwards. There's a gas station there, in Jacumba and in Ocotillo (although that one can be hit and miss). We'll be traversing BLM managed land South of Interstate 8.

Yeah, I'm sure I could work something out. I'd like to hit up that area along with Carrizo Mountain again in November sometime.
