2010-11-27: CA/AZ Colorado River Run

California & Arizona Colorado River Run: Red Cloud Mine-Cibola National Wildlide Refuge-Black Mountain-Picacho State Recreation Area



Over the Thanksgiving weekend (Nov. 25-28th) I'll be camping out at the river and would like to set aside one day to explore a few trails in the area. If there's anyone familiar with this area who would like to meet up at a gas station in Yuma, perhaps on Saturday, and run this route with me please post up.

Here's the suggested route I would like to try:


A good place to meet up would be at the Chevron Self Serve gas station on the corner of S. 4th Ave and W. 1st St in Yuma, AZ on Saturday, November 27th.

I would like to get an early start on this and meet up no later than 6:00am on Saturday. I'll wait to see if there's any interest in this before posting additional information. If this doesn't work out for anyone then no big deal, I can always post this run up again at a later date.

Wish I could join you, but have family matters here in CA. If you ever decide to hit any trails around Parker, let me know. I would enjoy some company on those trails.
