Post by hmfigueroa » Sat Feb 12, 2011 10:50 pm

Our guest for our net is Clint Bradford, K6LCS AMSAT area coordinator, and a very accomplished speaker on the topic of Amateur Satellite Communications.

We are truly fortunate in having him present on our net on Thursday Feb 17, 2011.

Clint has an excellent series of excellent information on locating the satellites and frequency guides, frequently asked questions, and radio programming tips.

Please see http://work-sat.com for all the great tips.

I was only able to hear the first half of the net, but it definitely got me interested -
I've got an FT60R, and the Elk log-periodic antenna, so I am more equipped than I though for satellite comms...
