New from Culver City

Post by Captm » Wed Feb 23, 2011 11:39 pm

Doing a ssslow build(2 kids still in college) on my 05 tacoma Dbl cab LB. Grew up racing mx and desert, playing with buggies and 3wheelers. Family weekends at Ocotillo Wells and Glamis back when it wasn't crowded. As soon as I got my drivers liscense we started going on our own. Until recently I haven't been offroading for 30yrs - and only found out you can still go out to the desert and not be crowded- you just have to work at it. My wife, 2 dogs and I are doing a trip to Toroweap and surrounding area the later part of April. Tim, Molly, Koa and Belle

I drive by Dirty Parts almost daily and finally decided to stop in. Larry told me about the group and this sight -seems like a good fit for us . My wife, KI6UHB, is going for her general and just passed her EMT National Registry. I need to update my EMT. I have not done much to the taco -Revo II's, OME w/886, Spidertrax, Wheelers bumpstops, Dakar w/AAL, Timbrens, K&N air filter, removed carbon filter, mobil 1 synthetic, Odyssey battery.
