Well I posted this but it never posted so I'll try again. Glad to be a member here, even if I think I was a member many years ago. Anyways, I'm Dave, 47 y/o from Riverside, CA. I'm a firefighter and part time semi-pro photographer. I own a jeep, trailer and love the outdoors. I primarily travel the southern part of California, Northern Arizona, Southwest Utah and Nevada and many local area in SoCal. In the last six months I've been to the Eastern Siearra's up to Bridgeport, Joshua Tree, Monterey, San Diego, the real Calico Mines and many other SoCal area doing photograhy.
I love to get out and explore areas I haven't seen before, but staying within my budget! LOL I was looking at going to Sequoia National Fiorest at the end of this month, but the road construction there has turned me off. So I may hit Yosemite or somewhere else if I can think of somewhere exciting to go. Glad to be here and hope it'll help me for trip ideas. Check out my photos on Flickr.

Hi Dave and welcome. Sounds like you will fit in great. Wheeling, exploring and shooting-camera and guns seem to go together. I must say your name is familiar. ( but I can't place it.) Usually, that is not a good thing.
We look forward to seeing you on the trails. Anza Borrego has some great photo opp's. It looks like you have spent some time in the Valley Of Fire.
Cheers, Steve
