Here is a little news item that we are messing with in my gun circles. I decided to share it here. I will not comment on certain things, but will say that I think this person has many bad habits and paid for them. I personally believe in the following:
1. Dedicate yourself to one platform--both gun and holster.
2. Practice and train properly. Bad practice is worse than no practice as you will default to your practice/training/muscle memory. If you carry concealed, practice from concealment and this includes the draw, strong hand, weak hand etc.
3. Use a quality leather holster without goofy retention devices for ccw. The rules are a bit different for open carry/police.
I could write a book on the above and elaborate on these and additional issues. If anyone is interested, let me know. And before anyone asks, I do not like kydex holsters and do not like the serpa holsters due to where your finger is trained to go. This is another case of a ND with a serpa.
Cheers, Steve

I'm sorry but I'm at work and I just about laughed my ass off...He is lucky he doesn't have 4 enter and exit wounds. That bullet exited his leg/knee and just missed his foot. Holy sh@t that must have hurt.

Re: Watch and Learn
I do not care for the serpa holster either. I have one and only use it when I am out target shooting to avoid having to set the gun down. I also have the minotaur IWB holster which I like much much better. It is half kydex so doesn't have the undesired lockup problems that full kydex holsters (like the serpa) may have (although I have never personally seen this lockup issue).

Ouch, that had to be brutally painful!
It took guts and I'm glad he posted his video. Its a sobering reminder for gun safety.
