i'm getting ready to mount mine in the truck with a bad elf unit. i've got the gaia app and it seems pretty solid but i'll take a look at the backpacker one. for $5, it looks like it's worth it.

I'm going to do it like this. I'll probably modify it just a bit with a mending bracket or something to try and strengthen the plastic. I won't always have it mounted in the truck and that makes it easy to take in and out.socal_rubi wrote:Can you share your choice on the mount for your iPad?
