4,300 feet above Santa Barbara in the Santa Ynez Mountains. With total views of the Channel Islands to die for!

My campsite for the night. From this elevation, I was able to talk on my CB Radio to a guy in Thousand Oaks which could be 75 to 90 miles away, with just 4 little watts. That's what elevation and no obstructions can do for your little CB.
Looking right/east from this same spot as above is Lake Cachuma. And more Mountains to Explore one fine day!
You can see an island in the background. The views were too huge for my camera!
Roughing it at my campsite at Morro Bay! shuuuuu! And a wonderful bike ride around the bay in the morning.

Highest hill in the Alabama Hills just west of Lone Pine.
Views of Mt. Whitney and the Sierras.
Mt. Whitney is to the right. Above the front right corner of my truck.
