I am getting some feedback in my stock speaker (drivers side rear to be exact) when I key out on my mic. What can I check to fix this problem?
If this helps, here is my setup.
Yaesu FT8800
Yaesu Seperation kit
Power going to the battery, ground going to battery as well.
Main unit mounted under passenger seat with antenna cable running along lower passenger side up the rear passenger pillar to NMO on roof.

Re: Feedback in stock speaker
Audio rectification can be troublesome to diagnose and correct.
Things to check are the routing of your antenna feedline especially if it runs along where your speaker wire are located. Also check and see where your amplifier is located. Under the seat is a popular location.
Ensure your antenna is operating efficiently if it is not radiating from the antenna, it is radiating from the feedline and inside your vehicle and getting into your audio system. So make sure you have a good match on you antenna system. Sometimes a different antenna may help.
