Saturday July 26th Miller Jeep Trail

Post by lbhsbz » Wed Jul 23, 2008 10:15 am

Hi guys...just got around to signing up here since the AD4x4 is about dead.

Anyway, I just talked my buddy from work into buying a jeep, and I'd like to head out to miller jeep trail with him since I've never been there and it should be pretty cool (temp). Did Big Bear last weekend and it was crowded. Anyone up for it? I'd like to get a few more rigs involved.

I did Lockwood Valley / Miller Jeep Trail about 3 weeks ago - lots of fun.

This weekend is reserved for honey-do's....

I'm headed back up to big bear....we're meeting at the disco center at 9, and we'll roll out by 9:15. If anyone wants to join us, we'll see you there. I've got a POS black toyota pickup with rusty bumpers and we'll also have a funny lookin red XJ on 36s.

McRover, you've got my phone #....give me a call tonight if you can make it.

How about doing some late afternoon and evening runs? I have done some of those with some MJR members and it was a load of fun. Late afternoon and early evening will give you most of the trails to yourself.

I'm about 1 or 2 hours away from all the trails (I live in long beach) so evening runs mean getting home real late generally. Plus, I don't have any lights right now.....its on the list. I would definately be up for a night run if I was camping out for the weekend.
