If you can do it, get him to do a demo on pulling a vehicle backward with a front mounted winch! Very impressive.
I would love to see that, I have only ever seen a diagram of how to do it online. Unfortunately, his demo is at 3pm on Friday, and I dont get off work in LA until 3, so with traffic, I don't think i will quite make it.

Our camping location has moved a bit to a better location. We have a cabana at n33 16.055 w116 01.404

The turn off from the 22 is at 33.297250 -116.280556 When you leave the pavement, make a hard right, hug the fence and look for the card board sign that says EXPO

We were able to get off work, so my wife and I are hoping to be there by 1pm tomorrow.

Hope some of you can make it

Early this morning at approx 0230 Jim Passed away from injuries he sustained in a Jeep accident in Truckhaven Hills. He died doing what he loved, Wheeling and TDS (the place and event). Every year before we even broke camp to head home he was looking forward to next year and winning the winch at the raffle. For the 15+ years I attended TDS (the event, and place, with the club) Jim has refused to buy a winch and was determined to win one at the raffle.

Jimmy, you were with us for way too short a time, but you touched more lives than you will ever know and helped keep trails open for everyone. You will be missed buddy.

RIP Jim (Jimmy) Kuns, Jr.

Many of you are already aware of Jim's passing. If not, you can find the info here
http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1049882
Jim is survived by his wife, Stephanie and two young children. Having been hit with some rough times recently, there is no savings for her and the children, as well as no insurance to even help with his burial. Many of you have asked if you could help, so an account has been set up for you to make donations to. Anything you can spare will be greatly appreciated. Lets try to make money one less worry that his wife has to deal with at the moment.

Mailed donations can come to:

Kim Browne, 759 Cochran Street, Suite A Simi Valley CA, 93065.

If you want to write a check, make it out to Stephanie Kuns, Jim's wife.
