2012 Field Day Volunteer Operator and Equipment List
For an effective Field Day event, we will need to secure several radio operators and a number of equipment items. This first post will be updated as volunteers step up, both for radio purposes and equipment as well. We will operate this year on the following bands: 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 and will need band captains for each. Equipment needs will include generators, tables, co-ax, chairs, pop-ups, extension cords, band pass filters and more.

I volunteer to captain 40 meters, (or whatever is needed...)

I can work 15m again this year..
I'll be bringing the following equipment:
29' Tall tripod antenna mast
TW Antenna (covers 40m, 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m, 10m)
2m/70cm J-pole antenna
MFJ Antenna analyzer
1 run of 75' RG8x with UHF connectors
REI Shelter 10'x10'
1 Propane heater
1 12v dc light
I also have the Yaesu 857d and ATAS combo.

I dont have much to offer, but do have a couple of small tables, a buddy heater, and access to as many extension cords in lengths from 5-100' If I see any requests for anything I can supply I will add to my list

The 100' cords are great. What gauge wire? We could use 4-5.

Cords would be 12g 3 conductor
Tables would be the 2 I had at the meet and greet I think they are 2 x 4 and 3 x 6

i edited OP for my contributions to the effort I will fill in as i have time.
I am still heavy into Baker to Vegas mode for this weekend but still two radio operators short.
The Barans Mast will get the Acid test this weekend. Wish me luck

I figured you wouldn't come up for air until the race was over. No problems. Good luck finding the two other operators.
