It is important to protect your Dutch Oven from dust and dirt when transporting and storing it. Here are some pictures of a store bought case and a home made box. The box is easier for stacking.

Dutch Oven Pot Roast Recipe
Ingredients:
Roast - Tri Tip
Two boxes Lipton Onion Soup mix
2 Cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
10-20 (more?) small potatoes
Baby Carrots
Instructions:
Heat up Dutch Oven
Empty the contents of the Lipton Onion Soup mix into a bowl. Roll the
roast around in the Lipton Onion Soup mix until it's covered.
Sear the outside of the roast covered with the soup mix on all sides
in the hot dutch oven.
Cook the roast inside the dutch oven (turn as needed). But not
completely. You'll need to estimate how long the you'll need for the
potatoes and carrots and subtract that from the roast cooking time (20
- 30 minutes?).
Once that time is reached, add the Cream of Mushroom Soup (and 1 or 2
cans of water), potatoes and carrots. Cook until the potatoes and
carrots are cooked.
That should do it.
A few thoughts:
If the roast is very large, consider cutting in half to shorten cooking time,
Bring a meat thermometer
The last time I made this, I wished I added more potatoes and carrots.
Also, you can always cook using coals from your fire:
