Not getting email from subscibed threads

I am currently no getting emails when a subscibed thread is updated. Here are things I checked on my side:

Email address is correct in profile No emails in spam folder Double checked email filters in case it went to another folder Verify that admin messages did arrive properly

I discovered the Tapatalk plugin is installed so I am monitoring the forums from my Android devices. Still would like to have the email though.

With Ken's help, this is what I have discovered:

If you do not visit the forum that you are subscribed to, once notification is sent, it stops any further notifications.

And, this is phpBB's explanation of the notification feature:

This topic has received a reply since your last visit. You can
use the following link to view the replies made, no more notifications will
be sent until you visit the topic.

Apparently, there are users requesting a work-around to this, but there is none at this point. A quirk of phpBB, it seems. Let me know if this explains your experiences with the notification requests you have made. Tapatalk may be a good work around for the moment.

That is what I am experiencing except I am not even getting the first notification.

If nobody else is having this issue, it stay may be on my side. I can set up an email server and see if anything is getting out.

Thanks. Still no email. I did get the reactivation email on the new account. Going back to my settings and see if I missed something.
