If you joined us for our Summer Fest / Field Day event this year, or any other Field Day, join the discussion tonight. For those who were at the OAUSA event, we have a wrap-up of the field day competition, the weekend of camping and the trail runs in the local mountains.

How to study for the HAM exams came up in last night's net. The best way I found to study was using The HAM Whisperer's videos.

http://www.hamwhisperer.com/p/ham-courses.html

The General portion is, technically, outdated but I only found 1 or 2 questions that weren't covered in this FREE course.

I also used an Android app called Ham Radio Study. Also FREE! There is no pass or fail with this app. It keeps throwing questions at you until you've mastered them all.

With these two methods, I passed the Tech and General in just over 1/2 hour.

I hope this helps someone out there pass with ease!!
GOOD LUCK!!
