Re: GENERAL COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS
I think that Borregofest gets better and better every year...
I had a great time with all my OAUSA friends and their guests, in a terrific campground, with perfect weather and plenty of food and drink (maybe too much drink
). All the runs went smoothly, everyone got along, no major vehicle issues, and no shortage of racy campfire conversations
- it doesn't get much better than that, IMO...

Re: GENERAL COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS
I just wanted to thank everyone for a great couple of days in the outdoors. The family and I had a great time getting to know a few of you and are looking forward to more events in the future.
The Western Anza run was a great way to see some new desert. Being from Arizona it was nice to know where to start looking for some places to go outside of the local campgrounds we have been hitting.
Thanks for a great time.
Mike

Re: GENERAL COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS
Great group of people to wheel and explore with in Anza. I'm very thankful for the unique experience on the mine run. I'm also very thankful for those who saved my butt on the trail when I got stuck. Great recovery lesson though.
Glad to have had the chance to get to know a few of the group and look forward to future meets.
I'm also interested in getting my amateur radio license as soon as possible. I've been wanting to get my license since I was a kid but it seems that time never allowed for it. As soon as my current workload winds down I'll be studying up for the test. Great thing is that not only am I interested in off-road adventures and radio but my girlfriend is also into it. Definitely makes doing something you love with the person you love that much better.
Special thanks to Dave for setting up the mine run, John, Daniel, and the rest of the group for recovery efforts, John for the history lesson, and Daniel for offering assistance with studying for my license. Always good to see people helping others feel like a part of the group. Thank you!

I agree that BorregoFest gets better each year. Hopefully next time we can come out for all three days. It was great seeing old faces and meeting new ones!
