WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE REPEATER
As most know, the Keller Peak Repeater (where we have been doing our nets now for the past 5 years) has fantastic coverage. Given its location however, there are some significant areas in the shadows. This includes almost all of the San Fernando Valley and parts of Ventura County. The purpose of this post is to identify repeaters in these shadow areas, or any other area in the US, so we can link them to the nets.
Let us know your favorite repeater(s) (either 440 or 2M) and we will take it from there.

Re: Repeaters
Thanks Larry!
I'll check them out and post my findings. Isn't there a Frazier Mtn. repeater that also serves this area?

Re: Repeaters
Larry
I checked 'em all out and not one of them is IRLP equipped. One or two are linked, but via RF. No go.
The official IRLP site lists all nodes by state, city or node number. I went through the whole list for CA nodes and came up with a few that might work:
Sylmar k6hog 445.040 + 107.3
Palmdale kj6w 445.600 - 100
Sun Valley kc6hur 445.220 - 110.9
Thousand Oaks 449.440 - 131.8
From the listings on the IRLP site, all of these look like active repeaters. When you get a chance, check 'em out and let me know.
Also, since I am not familiar with the cities or landmarks in your area, you can check with the IRLP site and see if I missed any others that might serve you. See: http://status.irlp.net/index.php?PSTART=3&mode=3.
Any one else (anywhere in the US or Canada) who would like to link your favorite repeater to our nets?

Re: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE REPEATER
Bump for input on your favorite repeater. For those who would like to have direct access to our nets, (regardless of your location), let us know the repeaters that serve your area. If they are IRLP equipped, we can add them to the group of repeaters that currently join us each week.
Larry:
Any luck on checking out the repeaters in your area?

No it is not, at least at this time. To a large extent, the coverage of Santiago Peak is the same as Keller. To the extent that Santiago Peak covers part of San Diego, the coverage is likewise, the same as Keller.
I wouldn't mind connecting a repeater there, but it would help if we could get some feedback from people who listen to repeaters on Santiago, like CLARA, to see if there is coverage for them from Santiago Peak where there is none from Keller or Palomar. If there is additional coverage, then it is just a matter of locating a repeater that is IRLP equipped and willing to let us run the nets.
Other than CLARA, is anyone aware of a 2m or 440 repeater on SP?
