Yes, but I was hoping you could put up an invitation directly, since you are a member of longer standing there, and most may not know me or OAUSA at all...sort of a validation of the event by a regular member...

I just added information for the radios in the park to the Meet and greet thread to give it a bump

With only a couple of weeks to go, we need to do some planning. We will be doing some Ham radio demos (HF and VHF), some cooking demos (solar oven and Dutch ovens), Ham Radio testing, and some product displays. So.......... we need some volunteers to bring the following items

1. All of the equipment to set up a radio station, including the radio, an antenna, and all the connecting and related stuff. Although we may have shore power, you should bring enough batteries to power up your rig. We can use Ham operators who can do:

APRS demos
HF demos
VHF/UHF
HF Airmail and email demos

2. Tables and chairs for the radio stations, the product displays, and the Ham Radio testing

3. Generators (110volt) with a true sine wave inverter

4. Extension cords

5. Cooks who are willing to join in the cooking demos

6. Refrigerator/freezers, filled with chilled drinks

Please let us know what you can bring.
