Been pretty busy over the past few weeks but I thought I would post a couple of moon pictures for sharing not necessarily for the banner.

This was a little more work with a few cut and paste passes. I saw a few really nice sequence shots put together by others unknown to me but I did not take the time to do that many shots.

It's a 3 shot bracketed HDR shot. Shot in June 2010...yes there was water there....lots of water. It was shot I think in JPEG. That was before I started shooting raw....hence the noise in the sky. It was my first time there and the first time I had ever been to Joshua Tree. Since I have tons of shots...many better than that Barker Dam shot.

This is Randsberg, Ca. Climbed up near an old mine and saw the church down below. What came to my mind was the good and bad contrast. The rough, hard drinking miners vs the tranquility of the Church.....yes even the roughest miners went to church on Sunday's. LOL!!

Very nice shots!! Don't be shy about posting some trip reports with pictures.

BTW, the position of official OAUSA photographer is still open. Great benefits!!!

I can do a trip report on Randsburg. I remember that trip very vividly. I will work on it this next week and post pics and comments in between.
